We are a group of experienced likeminded healthcare professionals who wanted to establish a surgery that offers the best possible level of care by utilising our combined skills, training and expertise along with state of the art equipment.
We have purposely ensured that our unit is kept small and independent as we want to create a comfortable, positive and friendly environment with a ‘family feel’. Our independence means that we have no corporate agenda and no shareholders to answer to. This leaves us free to reinvest in our skills and equipment so that we can continue to develop and always provide you with the highest level of care.
Our services range from general dentistry and hygienist appointments through to sophisticated cosmetic, oral surgery and implant procedures. We are uniquely equipped with a large volume (field of view) CT scanner. We accept referrals from other healthcare professionals who do not have access to such equipment or the skillset to deal with more complex treatment plans.
Ease of access to our service is one of our main priorities. The entire surgery is based on one level, with a smooth uninterrupted surface running from the carpark through the reception and into the treatment rooms and wheelchair accessible restroom. We have telecoil induction loop systems available for those with compatible hearing devices.
The surgery is located on the northern outskirts of the pretty Dorset town of Shaftesbury. For those visiting from outside the area, the community’s elevated position on the top of the famous ‘Gold Hill’ provides beautiful far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. Numerous coffee shops and bohemian boutiques line the main high street.
